General Note:
About the artist: Aggie's interest in art began about 1936 at age 4 while watching her mother sketch pictures of Mickey Mouse for her. Aggie was inspired by her mother. One day while copying a picture from a child's book sent to her by her aunt, her teacher was impressed by her work and encouraged her to keep going. Aggie is mainly self-taught, absorbing so much from her many art books, preferring watercolour about all other mediums. She has in the past taken lessons in oils, acrylic and watercolour from Millyard Tuemp, Bill Alexander, Mark Hobson and Lyle McDonald.
