| General Note: | About the artist: Carmelo is inspired by his two great passions, food and art. He "uses fruit as a metaphor of sensuality in much the same was that Morandi used his bottles, Cezanne his beloved Mont-St-Victoire, and Pollock his paint". Each piece of fruit is individual in colour, shape and texture and Carmelo strives to create a unique work of art, and a total visual and sensory experience for the viewer.
